To understand the concept of A Tavola, it is essential to get to know Gerardo Mazziotta, the chef and founder of our restaurant. Gerardo, a passionate lover of pure traditional Italian cuisine, was born and raised in Palomonte, a picturesque village in the province of Salerno, Italy. Here, surrounded by the hilly landscape and the warm, volcanic climate, Gerardo and his family have been growing organic products in an artisanal way for many years. This region, one of the most fertile agricultural areas in Italy, provides the perfect ingredients for the authentic Italian dishes that we proudly present.

From Father to Son

Since 2025, Gerardo's son, Giuseppe Mazziotta, has strengthened the restaurant at the front and has returned to continue the family business with his father. Giuseppe, who gained his experience in various starred restaurants, has enriched the business with his knowledge of wine and refined gastronomic experience. Together they form a dynamic team that takes Italian cuisine to new heights. Giuseppe not only brings his expertise in luxury and wine to A Tavola, but has also given the classic dishes a modern twist, combining his experience in fine dining with the rich traditions of his father.
